Seems like you are tossing out lots of fiber and zero calorie  bulk to help you feel full...but on the other hand you are encouraging the intake of the nutrients in their most bio-available form.
[A good tasting tonic I haven't taken the time to make in years  is carrot, garlic and a wee bit of apple. If you have a good attitude about drinking freshly macerated garlic...thrown in as much as you like]
